Annually students from across NTC elect to participate in Business Professionals of America (BPA). This national, career/technical organization allows students to compete at regional, state, and national levels in more than 50 Workplace Skills Assessment programs. They also give back through community service activities, grow through leadership programming and network with professionals from across the state and country.

Though the name leads many to believe it is only for “business” based program students, BPA offers training and competitions for everyone!

Recently, several students from NTC participated in the 2023 Wisconsin BPA Hybrid State Leadership Conference.

Congratulation to Evelyn (Nina) Kizewski (NTC student & Instructional Assistant) who advanced to the National Top Ten (10) finalists in V07 – Cybersecurity / Digital Forensics – Post-Secondary and has been invited to compete during the 2023 Business Professionals of America (BPA) National Leadership Conference (NLC) in Anaheim, California! This was a virtual event where she had to compete in 2 rounds nationally to advance and qualify for the National Leadership Conference.

In addition to this event she has qualified for 3 other events during the recent Wisconsin BPA State Leadership Conference

  • Device Configuration and Troubleshooting
  • Server Administration Using Microsoft
  • Computer Security

We’re also excited to celebrate with Ben Folwarski (NTC student & Instructional Assistant) who also qualified to attend the 2023 BPA National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, CA for the following events:

  • Business Law and Ethics
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Contemporary Issues

Congratulations to Nina and Ben! Thank you for your commitment to your career field, dedication to your studies, and choice to engage with BPA. We’re proud of you and wish you all the best at Nationals in April!
