Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) is the official honor society of two-year colleges. It recognizes your scholastic accomplishments while providing the tools you need to succeed in college and beyond. If you’ve received an invitation to join, attend an upcoming info session to learn more about PTK and what membership means to you! Note: Beta Rho Zeta (BRZ) is the PTK chapter at Northcentral Technical College.

NTC Question & Answer Sessions
Join in with BRZ chapter advisor Krista Reince to have your burning PTK question answered! What is PTK? Why was I invited? What are the benefits? Whatever you want to know, we’re ready to answer!
Krista will be available for 30 minutes, starting at the time listed below. Pick the one that best fits your schedule and simply drop in during the half-hour time frame:

PTK Headquarters Sessions
All invited students are welcome to attend virtual sessions with PTK headquarters to learn more about Phi Theta Kappa and what membership can do for you. Each Your PTK Invitation: What’s In It For You? session will cover the same information. These sessions are led by PTK staff. No NTC advisors or employees will be present at these virtual sessions.
Important Dates
- Friday, October 30 – Last day to submit Membership Fund Application.
- Friday, November 6 – If you’d like to attend our fall induction ceremony, accept membership by this day.
- Tuesay, December 1 – Last day to accept if you are graduating and want the designation to appear in graduation booklet, ont transcripts and on diploma.
- Thursday, December 31 – Absolute final date to accept as set by PTK Headquarters.
After December 31, the online acceptance for the fall season will close. Students who continue to meet requirements and are enrolled in classes at NTC in the spring 2027 semester will receive a new invitation likely in late-February. Students who take the spring semester off and are enrolled in classes in summer 2027 will receive a new invitation likely in late-June.

Membership Fund Application (submit by Friday, 10/30/2026) – We want membership to be accessible to everyone! Use this application to help offset the cost of joining. Applicants are highly encouraged to watch the on-demand video or attend a Q+A session so you can speak to the benefits and why you want to join on the application.
