Your PTK experience doesn’t end with graduation

Update your Contact info

First, make sure PTK.org has your current contact information. We often see graduates miss opportunities due to outdated mailing addresses, or especially an old email address. If you’re using your college student email address with PTK, please know you’ll likely no longer have access to messages about 4-6 months after you stop taking classes.

  • Head out to PTK.org to update.
  • Click the blue person icon in the upper right corner.
  • Log in, if prompted.
  • In the green Your Chapter box, select NEW DASHBOARD.
  • Along the top, select MY ACCOUNT.
  • From here you can update your address, email, and phone information.

PTK Wisconsin Region Alumni Association

Stay connected locally by becoming involved with Wisconsin Region Alumni Association! The group’s focus is to provide fellowship and service for alumni.

  • Partner with the Wisconsin Region to share best practice and make the most of your PTK experience.
  • Offer encouragement to chapters and members throughout the WI Region.
  • Participate in service opportunities to continue making a difference in communities throughout the state.
  • Learn about cool services and features you can use through ptk.org even as a graduate.
  • Participate in PTK Wisconsin annual conferences.

  • Visit ptk.org.
  • In the upper right corner, click the little person icon and login using your credentials. If you’ve forgotten or misplaced them, you can use the help feature of the site.
  • Once logged in, along the top check out the Members link.
  • From there you’ll be able to see the various member tools.

Letter of Recommendation:

Request a letter of recommendation you can use for employment opportunities.

If you haven’t already started a PTK Edge course, now is the perfect time. There are five different edge options (with more on the way!). Each one is self-paced, offered 100% online, and is designed to give YOU the tools you need to SUCCEED.

  • Competitive Edge will set you apart from others by focusing on soft skills and leadership.
  • Employment Edge is designed around job seeking with cover letters, resumes, networking, interviewing, etc.
  • Advocacy Edge is built to help you take confident action on issues that matter. Build connections that make change and prevent burnout while making an impact!

  • Transfer Edge is where you want to be if you’re considering transferring on for additional schooling. This course will guide you through what to do!

Leadership Development Studies:

This is another online, self-paced opportunity. The focus is to help you learn more the different styles of leadership and what types speak to you. It’s a great way to learn more about yourself while creating your own leadership philosophy.
